HEBER CITY, Utah-Tuesday, 11-year-old Heber City resident Tristen Treu will receive the city’s “Busted” lifesaving award.
At a 3:00 pm presentation, Treu will be honored for saving his sister’s life.
First responders report he saved the life of his sister, Maya Treu, when they were swimming in their backyard.
Their parents report Maya suffered a seizure while she was swimming. Tristen jumped in and was able to successfully keep her head above water until help arrived.
Originally, emergency personnel were responding to the report of a possible drowning.
