DEER CREEK STATE PARK, Utah-Per Thursday news, Deer Creek State Park is encountering decreasing water levels.

This is resulting in the Thursday closure of the Main and Island Resort boat ramps.

The Main Boat Ramp has been barricaded off because of an extremely steep drop-off at the end of the ramp.

It is possible to launch smaller craft from the Island Resort boat ramp but not recommended because of shallow conditions there.

Boaters use launch ramps and reservoirs at their own risk.

Jordanelle State Park has no such stipulations at this time.
