SALT LAKE CITY-In information released Thursday, Temple Square in Salt Lake City will only conduct Christmas lights ceremonies virtually as no one will be allowed to visit in person this year because of covid-19.
Seasonal lights at Temple Square and at the temples located at Washington DC and Los Angeles will be turned on after Thanksgiving.
Temple Square will be fenced off from pedestrians with sister missionaries being the only ones allowed there to conduct the tours and Church officials who go about their daily business.
The First Presidency Christmas Devotional is slated for Sunday December 6 at 6:00 pm. This program will include Christmas messages from General Authorities and General Officers of the Church.
