SALT LAKE CITY-The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is inviting all children aged 3-11, their parents and Primary leaders throughout the world to participate in a friend-to-friend broadcast.
This virtual event is slated to commence February 20.
This historic, first-of-its-kind broadcast will include music and activities as well as messages from Church president Russell M. Nelson, Elder Ulisses Soares of the Quorum of Twelve Apostles and members of the Primary General Presidency.
This 40-minute event debuts Saturday February 20 at 11:00 am MST in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
It will be available on churchofjesuschrist.org., YouTube, BYUTV and other media.
Effective March 13, this broadcast can be viewed in Cantonese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Russian, Cebuano and Tagalog.
Parents are encouraged to watch the event with the children at their convenience.
Primary leaders and teachers are encouraged to share this event with children, especially those who may not be watching with their parents, or to consider using the recording as part of a Primary activity.
This event is made up of short segments designed to be watched over and over again, per Primary general presidency first counselor Sister Lisa Harkness.
It will be archived on face2face.churchofjesuschrist.org, the Latter-day Saints Channel, Gospel Media and the Gospel library.
