SPRINGVILLE, Utah-Per a Monday announcement, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has confirmed the resumption of the Book of Mormon video series.

Videos have been filmed near Springville, Utah. Production staff constructed an outdoor set consisting of a temple in the land Bountiful where Christ, after His Resurrection, visited ancient peoples of the Americas.

Elder Dieter F. Uchtdorf of The Quorumof Twelve Apostles of the Salt Lake City-based faith and his wife, Harriet, visited the set.

Elder Uchtdorf is serving as the Church’s Chairman of the Priesthood and Family Executive Council of the Church.

Other visitors to the set included Elder Dale G. Renlund of The Quorum of Twelve Apostles and his wife as well as Sister Jean B. Bingham of the General Relief Society Presidency and her husband. They join Elder Uchtdorf on the Priesthood/Family Executive Council.

Additionally, President Bonnie H. Cordon of the Young Women’s General Presidency and Elder Kevin S. Hamilton of the Seventy, also visited this site.

Anthony Butters of Hamilton, New Zealand, is the actor playing the Savior.
