Ence Homes Desert Hills Classic @ Desert Hills High School
ST. GEORGE, Utah-Connor Cowan drove in three runs and Juab downed Wasatch 9-2 Friday at the Ence Homes Desert Hills Classic at Desert Hills High School in the battle of the Wasps. Austin Park drove in two more runs in the win for Juab. Kanyon Mattinson, Garrett Hofer, Jimmy Larson and Derek Jennings also drove in an additional run apiece in victory for Juab. Carter Bucad and Ryker Evans drove in a run apiece in defeat for Wasatch.
ST. GEORGE, Utah-Cody Nash’s game-winning RBI single lifted Cedar City to a 5-4 win over Wasatch at the Ence Homes Desert Hills Classic at Desert Hills High School Friday. Gavin Mackert added two more RBI for the Reds, who overcame a 4-0 deficit after four innings in victory. Jacob Boyer also drove in a run for Cedar City in victory. Blake Sweat, Bridger Shaw and Ryker Evans each drove in a run for the Wasps in the loss. Wasatch returns to action Saturday at 9:00 am at this tournament against Union.

Wasatch bested Brighton 2-0 Friday. The Wasps prevailed over the Bengals 25-16, 25-18 in straight sets.
Wasatch downed Sky View 2-0 Friday. The Wasps downed the Bobcats 25-23, 25-23 for the straight sets win.
