PLEASANT VIEW, Utah-Griffyn Doughty’s 18 points led the Weber Warriors to a 66-64 overtime win over the Wasatch Wasps in non-region boys basketball play Wednesday. Jaxton Anderson had 18 points for the Wasps in the loss as James Ballsteadt’s squad fell to 2-7.

Wasatch will take off the next 13 days for Christmas break before facing the Highland Rams December 28 at the Utah Autism Holiday Classic at Olympus High School.

Beetdigger Classic

SANDY, Utah-Chiara Serre posted 15 points and the Wasatch Wasps bested Stansbury 52-38 Wednesday at the Beetdigger Classic at Jordan High School. Ainsley Thurber had a game-high 17 points for the Stallions in the loss.

The 3-3 Wasps return to action Thursday at the Beetdigger Classic against host Jordan for an 8:00 pm tip-off.
