Utah State Men’s Basketball Signs Central Arkansas Transfer Via Portal Monday

LOGAN, Utah-Monday morning, Utah State men’s basketball head coach Jerrod Calhoun announced the signing of Central Arkansas sophomore forward Tucker Anderson via the transfer portal.

Last season, Anderson, a native of Centerton, Ark. averaged 14.5 points and 3.7 rebounds per game for the Bears as he became the Atlantic Sun Freshman of the Year.

Additionally, Monday, the Aggies signed senior guard Deyton Albury and senior center Aubin Gateretse.

Albury, a native of Nassau, Bahamas, comes to Logan from Queens University where he averaged 17 points and 5.8 rebounds per game for the Royals.

Gateretse, a native of Charleroi, Belgium, comes to the Aggies from Stetson. Last season for the Hatters, who made the NCAA Tournament, Gateretse recorded 11.6 points and 7.6 rebounds per game.
