SALT LAKE CITY-David Hensley, Cooper Hummel and Pedro León each homered and the Sugar Land Space Cowboys dismantled Salt Lake 7-1 Friday at Smith’s Ballpark in Pacific Coast League play.
Cole McDonald earned the win on the mound for the Space Cowboys, improving to 1-0 on the season.
Niko Goodrum drove in a run in defeat for the Bees.
Following Friday’s results, the Space Cowboys clinched the series win and improved to 39-22 on the season. The Bees fell to 25-35.
The squads return to action Saturday at 6:35 pm at Smith’s Ballpark for the fifth game in the series.
