SALT LAKE CITY-Michael Papierski and Jason Vosler homered and the Tacoma Rainiers sent the Salt Lake Bees to their third straight loss with a 6-1 win Friday at Smith’s Ballpark in Pacific Coast League play.
Levi Stoudt earned the win on the mound for the Rainiers with seven strikeouts in 5.1 innings of work to improve to 1-0 on the season.
Ehire Adiranza drove in a run for the Bees in the loss as they fell to 2-5. Following Friday’s results, Tacoma improved to 5-2.
The squads return to action Saturday at 1:05 pm at Smith’s Ballpark.
