TACOMA, Wash.-Dominic Canzone homered and the Tacoma Rainiers downed Salt Lake 8-5 Saturday at Cheney Stadium in Pacific Coast League play.
Kirby Snead posted a strikeout in one inning of work to earn the win on the mound for the Rainiers.
Elliot Soto and Chad Wallach homered in the loss for the Bees.
Following Saturday’s results, the Bees fell to 53-53 and the Rainiers improved to 59-48.
The Bees can still secure a series win Sunday if they emerge victorious in the final game of the series.
Opening pitch is slated for 2:35 pm at Cheney Stadium.
