SALT LAKE CITY-Thursday, University of Utah men’s basketball head coach Craig Smith named Mike Summey as the general manager of the Runnin’ Utes program.
Summey comes to Utah from Campbell where he spent the past two seasons as an assistant coach for the Camels.
Summey, a graduate of NC State, has also spent time as an assistant at NC State, Saint Francis (Pa.), Miami (Fla.), North Florida, Queens, and as a head coach at NCAA Division III Bethany (W. Va.) during the 2008-09 season.
