ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.-Willie MacIver homered and the Albuquerque Isotopes dismantled Salt Lake 6-1 Wednesday afternoon in Pacific Coast League play at Rio Grande Credit Union Field at Isotopes Park.
Karl Kauffmann posted six strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Albuquerque.
Charles Leblanc drove in a run in defeat for the Bees.
Following Wednesday’s results, the Isotopes improved to 28-49 while the Bees fell to 32-44.
Thursday at 6:35 pm, the squads return to action for the third game in the series at Rio Grande Credit Union FIeld at Isotopes Park.
