SALT LAKE CITY-Drew Romo homered and the Albuquerque Isotopes outgunned Salt Lake 9-6 Tuesday to open a six-game series at Smith’s Ballpark in Pacific Coast League play.
Geoff Hartlieb posted two strikeouts in 1.1 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Albuquerque.
Jack López drove in three runs in defeat for the Bees.
Following Tuesday’s results, the Isotopes improved to 15-31 on the season while the Bees fell to 19-26.
The Bees and Isotopes have a swift turnaround as opening pitch is slated for 12:05 pm at Smith’s Ballpark Wednesday afternoon.
