ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.-Drew Romo and Grant Lavigne each homered and the Albuquerque Isotopes downed Salt Lake 8-4 Tuesday in the series opener at Rio Grande Credit Union Field at Isotopes Park in Pacific Coast League play.
Noah Davis posted eight strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Isotopes.
Bryce Teodosio homered in the loss for the Bees.
Following Tuesday’s results, the Isotopes improved to 27-49 while the Bees fell to 32-43.
The squads return to action Wednesday at 12:05 pm at Rio Grande Credit Union Field at Isotopes Park for the second game of the series.
