ROUND ROCK, Texas-Blaine Crim homered and the Round Rock Express overpowered Salt Lake 9-4 Friday at Dell Diamond in Pacific Coast League play.
Adrian Sampson posted six strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Express. Sampson improved to 3-1 on the season.
Cole Tucker drove in two runs in defeat for the Bees.
Following Friday’s results, the Express improved to 12-13 while the Bees fell to 8-17.
The squads return to action Saturday at 6:15 pm at Dell Diamond.
