PROVO, Utah-Per reports Thursday morning, BYU men’s basketball will face Providence in the sixth edition of the Big 12-Big East battle December 3.
The Cougars lead the Friars 2-0 all-time in a series dating back to 1962.
This meeting represents BYU’s first visit to Rhode Island since 1981 when the Cougars defeated Princeton and UCLA in the 1981 NCAA Tournament at the Providence Civic Center.
