PROVO, Utah-Wednesday, BYU men’s basketball head coach Kevin Young announced the signing of former Utah center, junior Keba Keita.
Keita, a former Wasatch Academy star out of Bamako, Mali, averaged 8.3 points and 5.4 rebounds last season for the Utes while shooting 61 percent from the field.
Young believes Keita fits perfectly with the Cougars “both on and off the court” while lauding his “toughness, athleticism and defense.”
