SALT LAKE CITY-Tuesday, University of Utah head men’s basketball coach Craig Smith announced junior forward Bostyn Holt has been ruled out for the rest of the season with an ACL injury.
This injury, Smith confirmed, occurred before the squad left for the Sunshine Slam at Daytona Beach, Fla. last week.
Holt, a native of Portland, Ore., averaged 3 points and 2.3 rebounds for the Utes in four games on the season.
Prior to his time at Utah, Holt starred at Coffeyville (Kan.), helping the Red Ravens to the NJCAA National Championship this past April.
