SALT LAKE CITY-Jason Martin homered and the Salt Lake Bees achieved a series win with a 5-4 victory over Albuquerque in 10 innings Saturday at Smith’s Ballpark.
José Marte earned the win on the mound for the Bees by posting a strikeout in two innings of work.
Willie MacIver homered in the loss for the Isotopes.
Following Sunday’s results, the Bees improved to 23-27 in clinching their third straight non-lost series. Salt Lake has won 12 of their last 18 games. Meanwhile, Albuquerque slumped to 16-35.
The Bees return to action Tuesday evening at 7:05 pm for a six-game series at Reno against the Aces.
