SALT LAKE CITY-Charles Leblanc homered and the Salt Lake Bees bested Sacramento 11-7 in Pacific Coast League play Wednesday afternoon at Smith’s Ballpark.
Zach Plesac posted two strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees. Plesac improved to 1-5 on the season with the victory for Salt Lake.
Brandon Martorano and Trenton Brooks homered in the loss for the River Cats.
Following Wednesday’s results, the Bees improved to 13-21 while the River Cats fell to 21-14.
The Bees and River Cats will play in another midday game Thursday as the squads will have an opening pitch of 11:05 am at Smith’s Ballpark.
