SALT LAKE CITY-Charles Leblanc posted two RBI and Elliot Soto drove in another run and the Salt Lake Bees edged Reno 3-2 in Pacific Coast League play Wednseday at Smith’s Ballpark.
Reid Detmers recorded five strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees.
Ronaldo Hernández homered in the loss for the Aces.
Following Wednesday’s results, the Bees, who have won the first two games of this series, improved to 30-40. Meanwhile, Reno fell to 33-38 in defeat.
The Bees and Aces return to action Thursday at 6:35 pm at Smith’s Ballpark for the third game of the series.
