SALT LAKE CITY-Jordyn Adams recorded an RBI single in the bottom of the 10th Inning and the Salt Lake Bees won their seventh straight game with an 8-7 victory over El Paso Thursday in Pacific Coast League play at Smith’s Ballpark.
José Marte posted three strikeouts in two innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees.
Adams also homered in the victory for Salt Lake.
José Azocar homered in the loss for El Paso.
Following Thursday’s results, the Bees improved to 47-51 while the Chihuahuas fell to 40-59.
The squads return to action Friday at 6:35 pm for the fourth game in the series at Smith’s Ballpark. With a victory, Salt Lake secures the series win.
