SALT LAKE CITY-Ryan Bliss drove in five runs and the Tacoma Rainiers downed Salt Lake 6-1 Sunday in the first game of a Pacific Coast League doubleheader at Smith’s Ballpark. Dallas Keuchel posted three strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Rainiers. Sonny DiChiara drove in a run in the loss for the Bees.
SALT LAKE CITY-Bryce Teodosio had an RBI triple and Jordyn Adams added an RBI double in the 7th Inning as the Salt Lake Bees secured a split of Sunday’s doubleheader at Smith’s Ballpark with a 2-1 win over thte Tacoma Rainiers. Kenny Rosenberg posted six strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees. Michael Chavis homered in the loss for the Rainiers.
Following Sunday’s results, the Bees improved to 3-6 as the Rainiers fell to 6-3. Tacoma won the series 4-2. The Bees return to action Tuesday evening at Las Vegas for a 6-game series against the Aviators.
