LAS VEGAS-Omar Martinez and Jeimer Candalerio homered and the Salt Lake Bees pounded Las Vegas 14-3 Wednesday at the Las Vegas Ballpark in Pacific Coast League play.
Sam Aldegheri posted seven strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees.
Bryan Lavastida homered in the loss for the Aviators.
Following Tuesday’s results, the Bees, winners of the first two games of this series, improved to 10-13 on the season while the Aviators fell to 11-10.
The Bees look to at least secure a series split Thursday. Opening pitch is slated for 8:05 pm.
