SALT LAKE CITY-Charles Leblanc homered and the Salt Lake Bees routed Tacoma 8-2 Tuesday at Smith’s Ballpark in the Bees’ home opener.
Kenny Rosenberg earned the win on the mound for Salt Lake, recording seven strikeouts in six innings of work.
Livan Soto added three more RBI in victory for the Bees, who have won their last two games after starting the season 0-2.
Ryan Bliss and Brian Anderson each drove in a run in defeat for the Rainiers, as Tacoma fell to 2-2.
The squads return to action Wednesday at 6:35 pm at Smith’s Ballpark.
