SALT LAKE CITY-Jason Martin homered and the Salt Lake Bees routed Sacramento 10-4 Thursday at Smith’s Ballpark in Pacific Coast League play.
Amir Garrett posted two strikeouts in two innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees.
Marco Luciano and David Villar each homered in the loss for the River Cats.
Following Thursday’s results, the Bees improved to 39-50 while the River Cats fell to 48-42.
The squads return to action Friday at 6:35 pm at Smith’s Ballpark for the fourth game in the series.
