LAS VEGAS-Jack López homered and the Salt Lake Bees routed Las Vegas for the second consecutive night with an 8-1 win over the Aviators Wednesday at Las Vegas Ballpark.
Aaron Hernandez posted two strikeouts in one inning of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees and improve to 1-0 on the season.
Brett Harris drove in the sole run of the game for the Aviators in defeat.
The Bees have outscored the Aviators 20-3 in the first two games of the series.
Following Wednesday’s results, the Bees improved to 5-6 while the Aviators fell t0 2-8.
The squads return to action Thursday at 8:05 pm at Las Vegas Ballpark.
