SALT LAKE CITY-Jack López drove in two runs and the Salt Lake Bees edged Sacramento 6-5 Wednesday in Pacific Coast League play at Smith’s Ballpark.
Tayron Guerrero posted two strikeouts in one inning of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees.
Jackson Reetz homered in defeat for the River Cats.
Following Wednesday’s results, the Bees improved to 38-50 while the River Cats slumped to 41-48.
The squads return to action for the third game in the series Thursday at 6:35 pm at Smith’s Ballpark.
