ROUND ROCK, Texas-Jack López and Zach Humphreys homered and the Salt Lake Bees outlasted Round Rock 6-5 in 12 innings Saturday at Dell Diamond in Pacific Coast League play.
Jimmy Herget recorded one strikeout in two innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees. Herget was also attributed with a blown save for Salt Lake.
Derek Hill homered in the loss for the Express.
Following Saturday’s results, the Bees improved to 9-17 while the Express slumped to 12-14.
The Bees go for a series split and the Express a series victory Sunday at 12:05 pm at Dell Diamond.
