SALT LAKE CITY-Ronaldo Hernández homered and the Reno Aces blanked Salt Lake 4-0 Friday in Pacific Coast League play at Smith’s Ballpark.
Albert Almora Jr. added another RBI in victory for the Aces, who improved to 10-8. The Bees, losers of their seventh straight, fell to 6-13 on the season.
Humberto Castellanos recorded four strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Aces.
The squads return to action Saturday at 1:05 pm at Smith’s Ballpark for the penultimate game of the series.
