Bees Down Chihuahuas, Win 10th Straight Game and Record Second Consecutive Series Sweep Sunday

SALT LAKE CITY-Jason Martin and Charles Leblanc homered and the Salt Lake Bees bested El Paso 5-2 Sunday, completing the series sweep of the Chihuahuas at Smith’s Ballpark in Pacific Coast League play.

Ryan Miller posted a strikeout in two innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees.

Cal Mitchell homered in defeat for El Paso.

Following Sunday’s results, the Bees, winners of 10 straight, improved to 50-51. The Chihuahuas fell to 40-62.

The Bees return to action Tuesday for a six-game series at Tacoma against the Rainiers as the Pacific Coast League season ensues.
