LAS VEGAS-Jake Marisnick homered and the Salt Lake Bees doubled up Las Vegas 10-5 Saturday at Las Vegas Ballpark in Pacific Coast League play.
Davis Daniel posted nine strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees.
Armando Alvarez homered in the loss for the Aviators.
Following Saturday’s results, the Bees, who clinched the season series win, improved to 43-51 while the Aviators fell to 46-48.
The series finale is Sunday evening at 7:05 pm at Las Vegas Ballpark.
Additionally, the Bees confirmed Los Angeles Angels star center fielder Mike Trout is scheduled to play for the squad Tuesday to commence a six-game homestand against the El Paso Chihuahuas.
