LAS VEGAS-Christian Moore homered and the Salt Lake Bees downed the Las Vegas Aviators 8-5 Tuesday in the series opener at Las Vegas Ballpark. Brett Kerry posted five strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees. Junior Perez homered in the loss for the Aviators.
Following Tuesday’s results, the Bees improved to 9-13 and the Aviators fell to 11-9.
The squads return to action Wednesday at 8:05 pm at Las Vegas Ballpark for the second game in the series.
