Bees Conclude Sacramento Series on High Note Sunday

SALT LAKE CITY-Elliot Soto belted a grand slam in the bottom of the 7th and the Salt Lake Bees humbled Sacramento 6-3 Sunday at Smith’s Ballpark, concluding the Pacific Coast League series on a high note.

Hans Crouse posted two strikeouts in one inning of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees. Crouse improved to 3-0 on the season for Salt Lake.

Donovan Walton, Brett Auerbach and Turner Hill each drove in a run in defeat for the River Cats.

Following Sunday’s results, the Bees improved to 16-22 on the season while the River Cats fell to 22-17.

The Bees return to action Tuesday for a six-game series at Tacoma.
