SALT LAKE CITY-Elliot Soto netted a three-RBI triple in the bottom of the 9th Inning as the Salt Lake Bees downed Albuquerque 9-8 Thursday at Smith’s Ballpark in Pacific Coast League play.
Drew Ellis homered in victory for the Bees, who have won 10 of their last 15 games to improve to 21-26 on the season.
Amir Garrett posted one strikeout in one inning of work to improve to 2-0 on the season for Salt Lake.
Sam Hilliard drove in three runs in defeat for the Isotopes, who fell to 15-33.
The Bees and Isotopes return to action Friday at 6:35 pm at Smith’s Ballpark for the fourth game of the series.
