RENO, Nev.-Adrian Del Castillo’s 2-RBI double in the bottom of the 9th Inning lifted the Reno Aces to a 6-5 win over Salt Lake Tuesday at Greater Nevada Field in Pacific Coast League play.
Andrés Chaparro added a home run in victory for Reno while Andrew Saalfrank posted three strikeouts in one inning of work to earn the win on the mound for the Aces.
Jason Martin homered in defeat for the Bees.
Following Wednesday’s results, the Bees fell to 23-28 while the Aces fell to 25-27.
Salt Lake and Reno return to action Wednesday at 7:05 pm at Greater Nevada Field for the second game of the series.
