SALT LAKE CITY-Deyvison De Los Santos and Pavin Smith homered and the Reno Aces overpowered Salt Lake 6-2 Friday at Smith’s Ballpark in Pacific Coast League play.
Humberto Castellanos posted six strikeouts in 5.2 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Aces.
Charles Leblanc and Bryce Teodosio each drove in a run in defeat for the Bees.
Following Friday’s results, the Aces, who won their first game of this series, improved to 34-39 while the Bees fell to 31-41.
The Bees and Aces return to action Saturday at 6:35 pm at Smith’s Ballpark as Salt Lake goes for the series win.
