HEBER CITY, Utah-Tuesday, Wasatch County Health Department health education/media relations coordinator Trudy Brereton revealed the statistics for covid-19 in Wasatch County per her weekly report.
Brereton confirmed 772 of the 994 recorded covid-19 cases are recovered. This is just under 77.7 percent (77.665 percent) of all cases.
213 of the cases are active or 21.4 percent.
There have been 9 deaths attributed to covid-19 in Wasatch County, or .091 percent of all covid-19 cases. The most recent death attributed to covid-19 in Wasatch County occurred October 14.
There are 42 hospitalizations in Wasatch County attributed to covid-19 per Tuesday’s daily report. This is an increase of one in the past 24 hours.
In Utah, 74.2 percent of the all-time covid-19 cases (71,693-96,643) are recovered.
25.2 percent of all-time covid-19 cases in Utah (24,399-96,643) are active cases.
There are presently 47,294 more recoveries than active cases in Utah.
Concerning hospitalizations for covid-19 in Utah, 6.12 percent (291-4,753) are current. Of those, 104 of the 291 are in ICU or 35.7 percent of ICU capacity. ICU occupancy is at 69.2 percent in Utah presently.
The deaths attributed to covid-19 in Utah increased by five (551). The current death percentage in Utah fell to 0.5701 percent from Monday’s 0.571 percent.
