Utah Olympic Legacy Foundation Closes Venues through March 29

UTAH OLYMPIC LEGACY FOUNDATION VENUES UPDATE

The Utah Olympic Legacy Foundation (UOLF) is proactively taking measures to slow the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19). Effective Monday, March 16, 2020 all UOLF venues (Utah Olympic Park, Utah Olympic Oval and Soldier Hollow Nordic Center) will close to the public through Sunday, March 29, 2020.

Following guidelines outlined from The Governor of Utah and our local health organizations – all public activities and group events are suspended for the time being.

Spring tubing sessions will remain open through this weekend and current ski and snowboard team training will still occur at Utah Olympic Park and Soldier Hollow. If you are enrolled in team training or a sport program at Soldier Hollow Nordic Center, please reach out to your sport program manager with additional questions.

We continue to stress the importance of preventing the spread of infection and share the following information being circulated by healthcare officials:

1. Avoid getting closer than six feet to anyone coughing or sneezing;
2. Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for 20 seconds or use hand sanitizer that has 60-95% alcohol. This is especially important after going to the bathroom, before eating, or after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing.
3. Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
4. Cover your mouth with a tissue or your elbow if you cough or sneeze. Throw the tissue in the trash, and then wash your hands.
5. Stay home if you are sick.
6. Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces regularly.
7. Monitor the WHO and CDC websites for travel advisories and follow their recommendations.

Questions or personal concerns regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19) should be directed to your healthcare provider.

UOLF is actively monitoring the situation and will post updates on our website and social media channels.
