Utah Homeowners Lose Insurance At A Higher Rate

(Salt Lake City, UT) — Utah homeowners are losing their insurance for nonrenewal at a higher rate than homeowners in any other state. It’s about half-a-percent higher than the nonrenewal rate in California. More fires and more homes being built close to forests are part of the reason. Several insurance companies have left the state, and that’s also contributing to more policies being dropped.
