(Salt Lake City, UT) — Utah’s latest voter-registration figures show unaffiliated voters gaining ground as Republican registration declines. State data released last week lists about 914,916 active Republican voters and 514,331 active unaffiliated voters. Democrats account for a smaller share of the active voter list. The shift comes as ballots and early-voting information reaches voters ahead of the November election.
