(Salt Lake City, UT) — The Utah Department of Transportation is nearing partial completion of a project to make freeway lanes easier to see. Crews are adding wider, higher-contrast markings commonly called zebra striping on selected corridors. UDOT says the work is intended to improve visibility at night and in bad weather. The agency provided an update yesterday as construction continued. Drivers should expect the markings to appear on more routes as the initiative expands.
