The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Releases Emotional Resilient Training Resources

SALT LAKE CITY-Wednesday, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints released a program entitled: Finding Strength in the Lord: Emotional Resilience.

This program is presently available in English, French, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish.

Another 10 languages will be added in March. Some of the videos for these 10 languages are accessible online.

The project was commenced by a young Latter-day Saint from Sandy, Utah, Becca Ekberg, who shared thoughts on the subject with Elder David A. Bednar of The Church’s Quorum of Twelve Apostles.

The course’s manual 10 chapters consists of topics such as building emotional resilience, developing healthy thinking patterns,  managing stress and anxiety, understanding sadness and depression and overcoming anger.
