Smith’s Recalls Cheese Dips Because of Possible Health Risk

SALT LAKE CITY-Tuesday, Smith’s Grocery Stores announced a recall of cheese dips sold at all of their locations.

These dips, Murray’s Chads Smoked Gouda Dip, Murray’s Jalapeno Jarlsberg Dip, Murray’s Bacon Chive Jarlsberg Dip, Murray’s Southwestern Jarlsberg Dip, Jarlsberg Cheese Spread, Pimento Cheese Dip, Deli Jarlsberg Jalapeno Dip, Jarlsberg Cheese Spread, Deli Jarlsberg Jalapeno Dip, Deli Bacon Chive Jarlsberg Dip, Deli Southwestern Jarlsberg Dip, Deli Jarlsberg Dip, Jarlsberg Dip and Deli Jarlsberg Cheese Dip have all been recalled because of salmonella poisoning.

This includes the Heber City Smith’s, located at 550 N. Main in Heber City.

The company has removed these products from the shelves and the company has initiated its customer recall notification system.

This alerts customers who may have purchased recalled products through register receipt tape messages and phone calls.

Anyone who has purchased any of the products described above should not consume them and return them to a store for a full refund or replacement.
