PROVO CANYON, Utah-UDOT Avalanche has reported Provo Canyon is closed from Canyon Glen to Vivian Park because of avalanche danger throughout the day Thursday.

Until further notice, if Wasatch County/Wasatch Back residents must go to the Wasatch Front, they are directed to take I-80 through Parley’s Canyon en route to the Salt Lake Valley.
Additionally, Provo Bridal Veil-Slide Canyon closed as of 12:00 pm this afternoon and is expected to be closed at least through 10:00 pm this evening.
This entails both directions of travel in US 189.
