SALT LAKE CITY-Friday, Utah’s front-line health care workers began to receive clinical face masks that thousands of residents volunteered to assemble as part of an ongoing service initiative organized by Intermountain Healthcare and University of Utah health in partnership with Latter-day Saint Charities.
IHC, UofU Health and Latter-day Saint Charities organized a five-week volunteer-based initiative to sew and distribute medical-grade clinical face mask kit with help from residents.
This service initiative ends May 23 while through that time, volunteer opportunities are posted weekly on Project Project’s Web site.
