SALT LAKE CITY-Tuesday, Pres. Dallin H. Oaks of The First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints spoke to BYU-Pathway Worldwide students in hopes of helping them become “self-reliant servants of Jesus Christ and of [their] fellowmen.”
Among Pres. Oaks’ remarks were statements exhorting his listeners to “focus on the Gospel of Jesus Christ,” “hold to eternal things and principles of right and wrong,” “welcome everyone,” and “exercise the power of creation.”
BYU-Pathway Worldwide is the Salt Lake City-based faith’s online university certificate and degree program.
