HOYTSVILLE, Utah-Monday, the victim of a fatality from a motorcyclist accident Saturday was identified, per officials.
Darrin Williams of Layton was killed Saturday after crashing on Interstate 80 near Hoytsville.
The 43-year-old Williams was speeding on eastbound I-80 on his Harley Davidson at 3:30 pm when losing control while driving on a bend in the roadway and crashed on the median.
Several witnesses stopped to help the man but died on the scene, per officials.
Williams was not wearing a helmet, per witnesses.
I-80 was shut down for an hour while a medical helicopter responded to the accident per a Department of Public Security statement.
Both directions of I-80 had fully reopened by 7:30 pm.
