OGDEN, Utah-Thursday afternoon, a plane crash occurred on the runway at Ogden Municipal Airport.

Reports state the plane crashed at 12:21 pm. The pilot was the only person in the 2-passenger aircraft.

Fire crews from Ogden Municipal Airport, the Ogden Fire Department and and the Roy Fire Department responded to the crash.

Officials said the airport is presently conducting an investigation concerning the crash.

Ogden City Fire Battalion Chief Mike Slater confirmed no fuel spills occurred and there was no apparent damage to the runway.

Arriving on the scene were firefighters, one ladder truck, an airport foam engine, an ambulance and a paramedic unit.

Officials confirmed damage to the plane is indeterminate at this time.
